I am for Dan Mae running against McInnis and Cleve Tidwell running against Norton, Stephen Bailey running against Polis and Don Beezely against Primavera.

WE need independents to win the General election in November. We need not a Party hack or a lawyer, we need someone that says to the independent voter, "Look the Colorado GOP is reformed.. Dick Wadhams and many GOP leaders don’t get IT.. They are mistakenly depending of firing up the base to win. Sorry folks, but the ways to win are to show reform and garner the independent vote. The Base will be energized more by reform than shoving Scott, Jane, Ken or Tom down their throats

I was an independent voter disgusted with both Parties. I chose the Republican Party mainly because it fits closest to repealing the 16th amendment. Ronald Reagan, "Our federal tax system is, in short, utterly impossible, utterly unjust, and completely counter productive, it reeks with injustice and is fundamentally un-American.. it has earned a rebellion and it's time we rebelled..."

We need to get back to the Constitution’s original intent, and if the Republican leadership doesn’t agree, then we need new leadership.

To all,
Here is why this country's government relied on consumption taxes for over 100 years, before we got "talked" out of it by the first Roosevelt, Teddy.
I'd also like to see conservative talk radio hosts or "conservative" representatives argue against this commonsense wisdom and enumerate the advantages we enjoy under our present system.

"There is no method of steering clear of this inconvenience, but by authorizing the national government to raise its own revenues in its own way. Imposts, excises, and, in general, all duties upon articles of consumption, may be compared to a fluid, which will, in time, find its level with the means of paying them. The amount to be contributed by each citizen will in a degree be at his own option, and can be regulated by an attention to his resources. The rich may be extravagant, the poor can be frugal; and private oppression may always be avoided by a judicious selection of objects proper for such impositions. If inequalities should arise in some States from duties on particular objects, these will, in all probability, be counterbalanced by proportional inequalities in other States, from the duties on other objects. In the course of time and things, an equilibrium, as far as it is attainable in so complicated a subject, will be established everywhere. Or, if inequalities should still exist, they would neither be so great in their degree, so uniform in their operation, nor so odious in their appearance, as those which would necessarily spring from quotas, upon any scale that can possibly be devised.

It is a signal advantage of taxes on articles of consumption, that they contain in their own nature a security against excess. They prescribe their own limit; which cannot be exceeded without defeating the end proposed, that is, an extension of the revenue. When applied to this object, the saying is as just as it is witty, that, "in political arithmetic, two and two do not always make four .'' If duties are too high, they lessen the consumption; the collection is eluded; and the product to the treasury is not so great as when they are confined within proper and moderate bounds. This forms a complete barrier against any material oppression of the citizens by taxes of this class, and is itself a natural limitation of the power of imposing them. "

READ IT AGAIN PLEASE.. HOW FAR HAVE WE STRAYED FROM A CLASS NEUTRAL TAXATION TO NOW WHERE THE TOP 1% PAY 30% OF THE INCOME TAXES AND THAT THE TOP 50% PAY 97% OF ALL INCOME TAXES COLLECTED?

With the NST (www.fairtax.com) we enter into protected harbor of neutrality with no deductions, exemptions, subsidies, tables of depreciation and capital gains taxes. How would this spur growth as to what we have now, where every step of success we take is taxed? Do You want innovation and a super stable strong economy to better guarantee your children's future prosperity? Which better guarantees this, taxing their success at every step or only taxing what they choose to consume? -- g.v.o.

What is so hard to understand that taxing income is just a method passed by Progressives in 1913? If Progressives wanted it, why does the Republican Party stand by it?

A government that can to take 1% of your wealth can take 100% of it.

Do we want to give government that right? We survived over 100 years... without it. 67,000 pages of wealth strangling tax code and we worry about healthcare? Maybe why expense is such a issue is our method of taxation?

Compliance costs(wealth)through taxing income, is stripped from us every year, amounts to $300 billion. That is a stimulus package every two years. Non-compliance costs everyone that is a tax payer $2500 dollars more than if everyone paid. That goes a long way paying for personal healthcare.

Income - Overhead = Margin
Decrease Overhead = Larger Margin
Larger margin's = more employees

It is no different than our own household finances. Our margin pays for food, rent, clothing, entertainment, college savings, home savings, charities, church, or car payments.

For corporations it pays for R & D, re-tooling to meet market demands, expansion and more competition for market share.

Not taxing income makes America a "safe haven" for investment world wide because we would be the only country that doesn't tax income. Off shore accounts would be closed and opened here to invest, grow and prosper.

The confiscation of wealth was argued against in Federalist Paper 21 quite well.

But will it invigorate the economy? Are you kidding me?

Any candidate out there that declares war on the 16th amendment has my vote..

Tort Reform? Start there...

Ah, to be in a time where the bitter taste of tyranny was still fresh enough to beat back the tyranny of confiscating personal wealth.

God Bless,

We now have 44 pre-registrations. AND, we just received our first post card reply from the door hanger tear-off card. Keep 'em coming because pre-registering is going to make the caucus run much smoother. Erich

Precinct 13 reporting.. I received my post card style handouts for contact information. They look good. Color and everything..
I am holding "knock knock, who's there?" scenarios every Thursday night and the VFW Broomfield (google to find address) at 7:00pm. Except on Broomfield GOP meetings.

After years of selling myself I know how valuable scripts can be.
We will be practicing responses to questions from the people we talk to.
There are skills to sharpen in the art of engaging people so that they can feel more open to your input.

One of the most important things in sales, if not THE most important, is the honed ability to listen.
This is what we'll be practicing too. What questions to ask "next" recalling what they just told you.
If this sounds like fun you are more than welcome to join. $1.00 beers, sodas are free. Come on out and support our Veterans and share your experiences in good company.

God Bless,
