On Saturday, March 14th 2015, the Colorado State Republican Central Committee held its biennial Organizational Meeting at Douglas County High School in Castle Rock, Colorado.
The purpose of the meeting was to elect the Chairman, Vice Chairman, and Secretary for the Colorado State Republican Party for the next two years. Below are the results of those elections.
Steve is the former chairman of Adams County, and ran for Governor in 2014. Steve is an experienced business executive, having worked for several years in the health care industry, and brings that business acumen to the chairmanship. Steve has been focused on bringing together the many viewpoints within our party, an objective that will be a top priority for the state party over the next two years.
Derrick resides in El Paso County, and is the founder of American Conservatives of Color. Derrick has been working tirelessly over the last five years on minority outreach in Colorado and several other states. Derrick’s unique background will be brought to bear as the state party works to reach these communities.
Brandi is the county Chairman from Moffat County. Brandi provides strong representation for the rural and mountain counties in Colorado. As State Party Secretary, Brandi provides great representation the smaller, mountain and rural counties in Colorado. Brandi will do a great job bringing the concerns of those counties to the state party level.
As we welcome in new leadership for the state party, we extend a sincere and heartfelt thank you to Chairman Ryan Call, Vice Chairman Mark Baisley, and Secretary Lana Fore for their work and dedication leading the Republican Party. Being in the forefront is never easy, and their service is greatly is appreciated.
