Yesterday on the Mike Rosen show, hour 3, Tom Tancredo (guest host) grilled Josh Penry on his endorsement of Jane Norton. Regardless of your position on Senate candidates, it is interesting radio posing questions we should ask of all the candidates. I am holding “knock knock, who’s there?” scenarios every Thursday night and the VFW Broomfield (google to find address) at 7:00pm. Except on Broomfield GOP meetings.
After years of selling myself I know how valuable scripts can be.
We will be practicing responses to questions from the people we talk to.
There are skills to sharpen in the art of engaging people so that they can feel more open to your input.
One of the most important things in sales, if not THE most important, is the honed ability to listen.
This is what we’ll be practicing too. What questions to ask “next” recalling what they just told you.
